As a Mac Tools franchisee, you will operate a route, which is a list of potential customers that the franchisor assigns to you. Each route requires you to visit a designated number of stops, and you are assigned a truck equipped with displays of tool inventory. Your truck will be parked at each stop, and you will use best efforts to convince each customer to purchase a Mac Tools product.

 

You will be assigned a Mac Tools representative who will help you find a suitable truck for your route. Depending on the type of Mac Tools franchise you choose, you will be responsible for operating one or more routes. In the case of a Mac Tools franchise that only has one route, the franchisee will personally operate the route. Before you can become a Mac Tools franchisee, you must sign a franchise agreement and form a limited liability corporation. You will also need to pay an initial fee of $250 to $500. For each route, you will be billed a recurring license fee of $40 to $150.

 

While you are enrolled in the initial training, you will be expected to spend at least a week at the Mac Tools facility in Dublin, Ohio. During this period, you will participate in classroom and on-site training. At the end of the training, you will be assigned an account manager.
